Great news today! The Literary Review out of Fairleigh Dickinson University, accepted my short story “Resurrecting a Body Half”. I’m thrilled and humbled and can’t thank my friends enough for their suggestions. So thank you Brandon, Donald, Gretchen, Max, Ross, Kristen, and Kerry.

I found out today that “Derrin of the North” will be included in the 2010 Best American Short Stories collection as one of the 100 distinguished stories from 2009. Needless to say, I’m thrilled and honored.

Our War, Literature & the Arts Conference concluded Saturday evening, and wow, things went well. Every panel I attended left me emotionally drained and intellectually curious.
