“Top of the World” accepted at EPOCH

EPOCH has always been one of my dream publications. Sometimes you can’t explain it: you just fall in love with the writing, appreciate the history and standards, etc. I recently found out my piece “Top of the World” will appear in the autumn issue of the journal, and my reaction is one of complete and utter joy. I have to thank Donald Anderson, Brandon Lingle, Kerry Linfoot, and Kristen Loyd for reviewing and editing the … Continued

Doug Crandell’s Piece in The Sun

I found time to photograph people, buffalo, monuments, rainstorms, and anything else that caught my eye. I plan on writing an essay about portions of the … Continued

Poetry While You Wait: A Reading

Poetry While You Wait, a collection of poetry from the Pikes Peak region, accepted one of my poems, “Camouflage Doesn’t Work When They See You Dress”. One of the great things that comes with acceptance into this collection is a reading at the local radio station. Check out my reading of the poem at KRCC. Yes, I was reading with a cold.
