The Stacks: Housekeeping, The Violent Bear it Away, All Quiet on the Western Front

I’m loving the summer reading and writing life! I’ve had the pleasure of reading Robinson’s Housekeeping and O’Connor’s The Violent Bear it Away. Both novels I enjoyed tremendously, but Robinson’s novel was an entirely new and captivating experience with narrative depth and surprise. It’s a novel that I continue to process.
